Goby, Peacock Gudgeon

The Peacock Gudgeon is a beautiful freshwater species that gets their name from their striking looks that are reminiscent of peacock feathers. Although they are referred to as Peacock Goby, they are not part of the Goby family. They belong to the Eleoridae and are the only members of the Tateurndina Genus making them extremely unique. These fish are a lovely addition to any community tank. Although, they require some special attention to make sure they stay healthy, vibrant and happy. A heavily aquascaped aquarium is the best environment for these fish to thrive.
