GloFish, Tetra

GloFish are a genetically engineered fish and get their brilliant color from the introduction of genes found in jellyfish, coral and anemones. Their fluorescent color is permanent, so it will never fade and is best viewed under a blue or violet light. They are available in a variety of colors and generally get along with other community fish, however they can be prone to nipping at fins of flashy fish such as guppies.
