UNS Pista Stratiotes / Water Lettuce

Water Lettuce is a very unique floating plant used in the aquarium and pond trade. The top looks like a head of lettuce giving it its name. The roots grow very long down into the tank helping absorb nitrates, and provide coverage for your fish. Shrimp also love the long roots of the water lettuce as it provides a good biofilm for them to munch on.
